This expanding series brings the creativity of Atari computer users to light, showing the epic creations that pushed hardware limits.
Last year we wrote an article about the first volume of Marco Breddin's expanding series of books about the 16-bit demoscene. It includes the creators, their hardware, and the epic creations evolving from this period. "Breakin' the Borders" explored the transition from home coders creating and sharing digital art to becoming professionals of the trade. Their perseverance accelerated the digital medium bringing them into higher creative roles.

Interviews and articles bring the demoscene to life!
His upcoming second volume, Atari ST and the Creative People vol. 2: Beyond the Borders, covers the fast-paced rise and fall of a creative era: The golden years of pixel art. Currently in the midst of a crowd-funding campaign, Breddin's next volume looks to be another successful campaign. This would indicate his evolving book series will march forward!

Check out his Beyond the Borders indieGoGo page to see the type of stories, interviews, and content you'll find in this upcoming book.

For more info about this series, you can also check out Marco Breddin's website. Most importantly, this current Kickstarter demonstrates his ongoing efforts. This isn't a one-and-done story. It's breadth is wide and Breddin is doing a wonderful job in showcasing it's stages across this series. I'll point out there are many more stages to this history. I speculate we will be treated to several more tomes full of stories, history, and passion!
