Midway's 1986 arcade game Rampage is coming to the big screen via a movie starring Dwayne Johnson

The Rampage arcade game is now a movie
Coming in April 2018, Dwayne Johnson takes the lead role in the adaptation of 80's arcade game Rampage for the silver screen.
Rampage arcade screen Rampage was the ultimate co-op game you and a buddy could team up or attack each other - much like in Joust - except Rampage had a third-player option. Just when you and your buddy teamed up to destroy the city, a stranger drops a coin and suddenly everyone is under attack. The play dynamic is awesome!

When Adam Sandler convinced Hollywood to turn 80s video games into a movie full of characters attacking Earth (and Kevin James is the President) many retro gamers had doubts. I liked Pixels, but can an individual game come to the big screen? Can Dwayne Johnson battle George, Lizzie, and Ralph in a compelling cinematic extravaganza?

I didn't expect to like Pixels. I wanted to hate it, but I love the Wizard, so who knows... I'll give rampage a chance in theaters. It's just 2 hours of my life and if it sucks, I can go home and play rampage for the rest of the day! I'm hoping it's good!
