Modeled after platformers like Contra, Mega Man, and Castlevania, this looks like a really cool game.
As I watched the promo video, I was convinced Super Souse, by Jeremiah Stilts, was going to be an awesome new NES title. I was excited to discover it's pixel graphics and platformer styling is a modern game destined for Windows and perhaps a few high-end game consoles!

Super Souse video game This slick fast action platformer is coming to Windows via Kickstarter with potential for other platforms and game consoles. I'd love to see it on Switch and PS4! I'd still play the Hell outta it on an NES if the opportunity presented itself.

There are tough areas, challenging bosses, and unique stages. You'll also find a few shoot em up stages and plenty of secret rewards and areas to discover! I'm most excited about the 2-player co-op mode. I adore that dynamic in Contra.

Check out the Super Souse Kickstarter campaign for more details about the game and the backer tiers.

Super Souse video game As with any crowd funded game, one should approach with caution. The campaign page offers a lot of screen shots, animations and the game-play video looks great!

The delivery date is Oct. 2018 - one year from now. This makes me wonder how far along the game is. Additional platforms are not mentioned as stretch goals, so they could be delayed past the Oct. 2018 date.

I love the look and the game-play he's shown and the idea of co-op mode adds a great dimension to it. Check out the Kickstarter page and see if this is your kind of game.
