New Bittboy is still cute & tiny and now plays NES, Game Boy and Game Boy Color games

With little online description, this version supports SD cards where last year's model was merely suggestive.
I bought Bittboys for my son and I last year and they've been a lot of fun. That model supported 300 built-in games and seemingly had an SD card slot. Technically, the slot was no more than an opening in the case, with no hardware on the internal board. In other words if you inserted an SD card, it would rattle around inside the case until you opened it up to retrieve it.

It's a bit quirky with it's ROMs of unknown origin, but I love it!
This year the New Bittboy model seems to have traded the built-in games for support for NES, Gameboy, and Game Boy Color games via micro SD Card. That's cool. Their website doesn't always clarify all the basic questions one might have, but I think we can piece enough together.

This unit is listed as a 1 GB design. I'll take that to mean it supports a one-gig SD Card. Is it included with the unit? Not sure. The other specs seem to be the same as it's predecessor.

If you yearn for a boatload of unlicensed ROMs, the Bittboy GBN resembles the Game Boy Advance design and offers 400 built-in games, but no SD slot. I'm curious about this model just to see what games come with it.

I've been very happy with my original Bittboy and am looking forward to getting one of the new models. Check them out. Thy are tiny, but provide a lot of fun!
