Just Dance 2019 is still being released for Nintendo's Wii console

Just Dance 2019 released for the Wii
I'd love to know the Wii sales figures for Just Dance '19 as much as I'd like to buy a copy!
Last year I heard Just Dance 2018 was coming to the Wii console and it did. I was more surprised to recently see the 2019 release for Wii at my local Target! Again?!? the 2019 version is still being developed for the Wii? That's crazy... and kind of cool.

Just Dance 2019 for the Wii The original Wii console was released in 2006 and marched boldly until being discontinued in 2011. From there the Wii Family Edition (no net or Gamecube compatibility) and the Wii Mini continued until 2013. So in 2019, Ubisoft is still putting out Just Dance for the Wii! Equally surprising - I saw a copy on the shelf in Target! Surrounded by the PS4, Xbox One, and Switch versions was the Wii version. That begs for questions about the Wii U version...

I suppose when you sell over 100 million game consoles, there must be a considerable install base still in use. Having a Wii reignited my passion for the Gamecube, so we've kept ours hooked up and in-use alongside our Wii U. I'll be honest - I can't dance. I don't like dancing. I don't want to learn to dance. I don't want to Just Dance.

I do however love the idea of buying a new game - from a long standing IP - for my Wii. I don't know... maybe excitement would take over and I'd become a dancing machine until I accidentally punched a lamp with my Wiimote.

Normally, I get excited to see an on-going IP come to the Switch, but I think I'm more exited to by this for my Wii. Damn... there may be dancing in my living room yet.
