Even though books are always better than their film adaptations, Ready Player One was a lot of fun

Ready Player One
I really liked Ready Player One and thought they did a nice job bringing it to the big screen.
I recently re-read Ernest Cline's Ready Player One novel in preparation for the film release. As an avid Stephen King fan, I know that good writing always bests a film adaptation, but Cline's book seemed a great fit for a big-screen adventure. Spielberg did a great job with this film.

Like the book, the film is full of 80s references and pop culture. Even the soundtrack looks promising with bands from Van Halen to Twisted Sister! The screenplay was written by Cline and Zak Penn who you may remember from the Atari landfill documentary, Atari: Game Over.
