Pong is one of the earliest video games to start the gaming frenzy. I refuse to believe modern man is stumped by Pong. Pong rules!
The original Pong game was quite rudimentary, but it was a lot of fun. Modernizing such a game could go several directions. The folks who created the Atari Pong Table took a bold turn and made na electro-mechanical version of the game. It has a ball, paddles, and spinners. Everything you need to play, but it has no screen. No pixels. The ball and paddles move via a system of rails and cables beneath the game top.

It sounds crazy, but the spinners were super smooth and the action was great. It took a game from the 70s and breathed new life into it! it was great fun. They've even released a deluxe model featuring four players. This is a hot game that isn't resting on it's laurels. They're making it better.

I know it's difficult to manage an arcade floor. Games have to perform to certain standards, but when they underperform, I wouldn't be too eager to remove the game all together. Too complicated? Add some instructions fo those who don't get it. Give the game price break and entice people to give it a try. It's Pong! You don't give up on Pong!
