I'd heard about Hot Wheels releasing a series of Atari game inspired cars, but I could never find them! They even had one branded as "2600" - how cool! I looked in every toy store I could think of and finally I decided I must have been too late to snatch up these gems. I loved Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars as a kid and my son has an enormous stash of these varied vehicles. We often find great deals on them at the local grocery store.
Not long ago he called to say he had a surprise for me! It turned out he'd found the Missile Command and Centipede cars at the supermarket near his mom's home. Instantly I began stalking the toy aisle and random car displays throughout my grocery store - no luck. I'm pretty stoked he found these two for me - what a great kid!!
