Sega Dreamcast's Visual Memory Unit (VMU) is a memory card system. It's primary function was as removable storage, but the VMU could also serve as an extra display during gameplay and even act as a handheld game console. It was plugged into one of the slots on a controller. It featured a small black & white screen, speaker, directional pad, four buttons and the ability to download additional games.
