Contents of the Mega Pack Volume 1. Five sets of games were released for the NeoGeo X. They came as a single package option in this Mega Pack. Also included was a dongle that enabled users to upgrade their firmware. This firmware upgrade was necessary in order to play any of the games released in Jume 2013.

The games that are part of the Mega Pack come on a single SD card, so you may be wondering why the packaging is enormous by comparison. Inside is a nice manual that has some great art from each game as well as stickers. The inside of the hard plastic case is foam with cut-outs for Mega Pack components as well as space for the NeoGeo X handheld unit. The Mega Pack case doubles as a case for your handheld! This was very handy when we had to ship ours back when the firmware upgrade failed badly.
