Eskimo Bob graduated from Flash cartoons to a puzzle platformer for the NES

Eskimo Bob homebrew game for NES
Based on animations from the early 2000s, this upcoming homebrew looks like a lot of fun for your NES.
I love homebrew games along with the concept behind them. They are born of great ideas, love for aging video game consoles, and the technical knowhow to turn that great idea into functional code. I'd love to be able to take notions from my head and see them come to life on a screen!

Eskimo Bob's Kickstarter is winding down having met it's funding goal and a few of it's stretch goals. Check out this campaign by Tomas Guinan, creator of the Flash animated series Eskimo Bob. He's taken the characters he created and programmed them into a platformer video game. The gameplay footage looks great and has a strong NES vibe.

Eskimo Bob for the NES is an arcade-style puzzle-platformer with 64 levels, 15 enemy types, two playable characters, two support characters, and a fully functional password system allowing you to save your progress.

My only concern is this is Guinan's first effort at creating a video game from code to shipping a final product. While he says the game is fully coded and tested, the delivery date is January 2018. This seems like a long time (about six months) to get the game into cartridge format.

I'm hopeful this campaign will deliver a great game. I backed this project and urge you ta take a look and see if you want to back it as well.
