I wasn't paying attention to the Oscars... so, they gave one to Lady Bug when Moon Patrol won?

Oscar screw-up. Lady Bug? Moon Patrol?
With all the atrocities going on in the world, doling out awards to the wrong millionaires doesn't seem like a big deal.
Award shows are ridiculous, but I always seem to be drawn into them. During the first 30 minutes of the Oscars, I concluded I hadn't heard of most of the nominated films, let alone seen many of them. I did see Suicide Squad and am apparently the only person who liked it. I'm more into Margot Robbie than super hero lore, so that may account for my approval. I conceded that my interest was low and delved into a marathon session of Battle Cats on my tablet.

Lady Bug

1981's Lady Bug arcade game was an attempt to one-up Pac-Man with similar game play with the addition of gates the altered the flow of the maze as you pass through them. It didn't get too much attention in arcades, but was popular on the Colecovision home console.

Moon Patrol

Side-scrolling Moon Patrol came on the scene in 1982, letting players control the ultimate moon buggy throughout Luna City as a police officer, battling the criminal element in Sector Nine. This is one of my favorite arcade games that I love to play anytime I encounter a working cabinet!

I'm glad the Oscar officials resolved their mistake. Wouldn't it be great if the general public took that level of outrage to the things that are really shaping our everyday lives. Even if you don't consider yourself politically engaged, you know right from wrong. Put your passion toward the things that really matter.
